Argentina meteorite pendants with ring. These meteorites come from the Campo del Cielo meteorite field in Argentina. This great meteorite was first discovered in 1572 by Spanish explorers in Chaco, Argentina, after being reported by Indians that iron was falling from the sky. The meteorite type is iron, and it is an octahedrite.
