PERUVIAN BUTTERFLIES IN FRAMES

These amazing Amazonian butterflies will attract a lot of interest in your home. There are many different species of butterflies represented; for example, in the frame pictured above, we have the following species: Morpho amathonte, Mimoides xynias, Thithore harmonia, Asterope leprieuri, Prepona dexamenus, Mimoides pausanias, Dione juno, Anteos Clorinde, Eurytides serville, Phoebis argante.
- These butterflies are raised in butterfly farms in the Amazon Jungle. They are not killed, but after they die they are collected for these frames.
- No endangered species are used in these frames.
- These pieces are created by artisans that work for themselves and NOT in factories.
- Each frame is labeled with the scientific name of all the butterflies in it, which is required by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services.
- All frames are approved for importation by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services. They are physically inspected by a licensed officer/representative.
- The frames look best displayed with natural light but it is recommended that they are kept out of direct sunlight.
