Septarian Geodes, Utah
Utah Septarians are found near Zion National Park in Southern Utah. They are beautiful geodes that formed within mud balls approximately 150 million years ago. The yellow centers are calcite, the brown lines are aragonite and the outer grey rock is bentonite clay.
