DUGWAY GEODES Juab County, Utah These unusual single and multi-cavity geodes are Utah's version of Thunder Eggs. Within a rhyolite exterior shell, druzy and crystalline quartz-lined cavities were formed by silica-rich fluids seeping into cavities formed in the rhyolite.
