Sand Dollars
Sand dollars belong to the phylum Echinodermata. They are known for their typical five-point radial symmetry. The first definitive members of the phylum appeared near the start of the Cambrian. Pygurs marmonti from Madagascar dates back to the Late Jurassic period which was approximately 150 million years ago. These fossils are found world wide.
