Goldstone

Goldstone is an artificial glass originally made by Monks in Italy. The glass contains flecks of copper in the classic brown color. The glass is supersaturated with either iron, chromium, or copper oxide or any combination of the three. The solution is cooled under controlled conditions. The colors can be gold or blue goldstone.
